From Tullamarine airport:

The VHA shuttle service will bring you straight to the hostel. Opening hours and shuttle times vary each day, so please call or e-mail them in advance to book your shuttle

You can book the VHA shuttle though the information desk at the airport however they will charge you a booking fee.

If the service is not available take the Skybus to Southern Cross Station.
Skybus offers a courtesy transfer from Southern Cross to the hostel: Monday- Friday 6am � 10.30pm & Saturday, Sunday 7.30am � 5.30pm.

If the Skybus courtesy shuttle is not available from Southern Cross, tram 96 (towards East Brunswick) or tram 86 (towards Bundoora) from outside the station will take you to stop 11 on Nicholson St (opposite St. Vincent's Hospital). We are only 20 metres up Victoria Parade from the tram stop.

A taxi direct from Tullamarine to the hostel will cost approximately $60.

From Avalon:
Take the Sunbus to Southern Cross Station and proceed as above.

From St.Kilda:
Take tram 96 and jump off on Nicholson St as above.
