I loved my stay at the hostel. The staff was great. Very helpful and knowledgeable. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. The location is good (near bars, clubs, supermarkets, S+U line). Although it looks a bit dodgy it still felt safe. The key system isn’t always good. Random people do and can go inside the hostel. It can be a hassle for people staying on the 1st floor. It’s hard to know if everyone in your room is an actual guest.

I loved loved my stay at Amistat! The staff was so nice. The rooms were clean and I never had to wait to use the bathroom or the shower. They had various activities throughout the day and week. The best one for me were the beach volleyball and the parties (club and bar). I would come back to this hostel!

I do not regret staying at the KEX hostel. It was very central. Not far from the pool (one was 5 minutes away and two others were around 20-25 mins away walking). The staff was helpful. I did a tour with the hostel (Golden Circle) and it was worth it. The guide/host was wonderful. I would not mind staying there again if/when I come back to Reykjavik. Thanks a lot. I almost forgot: the food at the bar is really good! I loved the fish (I think it was cod) with almonds and mashed potatoes. Yum!

The hostel was very clean and well located. The staff was amazing. Diego and José always had good beaches to recommend. The cats and the monkeys were so cute. I met very cool people while staying there. I recommend this place!
