Stayed in a lot of hostels overseas and a few in Australia, the staff were friendly and helpful and the location was good but the atmosphere wasn't the best, seemed like everyone there was long stay or working and using it as a place to crash, the 8 person mixed dorm was crowded with bags and and clothes and there were tradie boots all through the hallways. Dropped my phone under the bed and when I went under the bunk to get it there was a lot of rubbish, wrappers, empty food packets etc.

Only there for a night but hostel seemed very social. Nice common area, room was very messy because of long term staying people…

Nice hostel in a decent location (only 10 minute walk from city centre). Common areas were very nice to spend time in and facilities were in good working order. There were no lockers in the dorm i stayed in and also A LOT of long termers- so the dorm tended to be quite messy with all their stuff everywhere. But this wasn’t much of an issue, since everything seemed to be clean and people were friendly.
