Chillin’ District Hostel is a nice and big beautiful house located in the heart of Medellín (El Poblado neighborhood). We offer free Wifi, A fully equipped kitchen, bean bags and sofas, hammocks, Housekeeping, Lockers, TV areas and two nice terraces to chill and relax.
The Hostel is located in the most cool, quite and safe neighborhood (Poblado) and is easy in a short walking distance to get to the nicest restaurants, club’s, and bars located around Parque Lleras (5 minutes), to a cheap and nice supermarket (2 minutes) also to the Metro Station in order to reach the most popular tourist sites (12 minutes). Definitely, you will have access to the most cool places walking by or with the public metro transport.

We look forward to receive international guests from all over the world looking for a cool place to relax, feel safe, meet people and experience all interesting things that Medellin has to offer. This place has potential. On the positive side the location is great. It's right near Provenza, a cool part of town. The beds were also nice and comfortable. On the negative side, the hostel was just dirty and unmaintained throughout. The floors in the dorms were not swept, the bathrooms were moldy and nasty, the kitchen had dirty dishes everywhere and the fridge was disgusting. There was a broken mirror in the bathroom, and missing door to the bathroom, no toilet paper. Odd vibe.

Really nice staff here, they will make you feel welcome. A very chilled vibe which we liked. You're so close to bar street that you can party elsewhere then come back here to sleep well.
Only comments would be that more toilet roll was required occasionally and we think several people are living in this hostel and didn't mix with the "travellers" which ruins the vibe a bit. Nobody in our room spoke or left, or seemed to do anything.

Staff are super friendly and the location is close a bunch of restaurants. Showers are warm and beds are comfy. Would stay again : )
