The castle and view were stunning. Plenty of free parking too. We booked a little hobbit room, but were given a downgrade without notice. The view made up for it! My main complaint was the service. Happy hour is until 7 and we waited in line at the bar at 645 for last call. The staff saw us waiting but didn’t honour the Happy Hour price at 7:02. Just flat out refused. Then some of those drinks ordered at full price took 45 min to arrive. It wasn’t busy and they weren’t short staffed.

Totally recommend staying at this hostel, it’s amazing experience to stay in a castle. Their kitchen serves super delicious food and the pool area is just pure luxury.
Spacious common areas, but not too social (not much organized by staff), although it’s still possible to connect with others.
Rooms and beds are ok, there are only small lockers for valuables. Showers had hot water on-and-off.

The vibe is abit dead in this hostel but the views and facilities make up for it! It’s abit far out of town but worth it if you want a nice hostel and a little bit of luxury! It is definitely worth the slightly more expensive price as staff are helpful, views are great and the jacuzzi is a life saver!
