SFO Crashpad

You can't expect a Ritz-Carlton quality but for the price its worth it. I appreciate management adjusting my check-in date due to a mistake I made after booking. They were able to provide me a bed although I wasn't yet on the resident list. My only complaints are the following: 1. You may see a roach or two real late at night/early morning in the kitchen/dining area 2. The hot tub is not workable 3. Very crowded - Four or five rooms/dorms with two basement rooms of 4-6 guests each. That's nearly 10-30 people in a 4 bedroom house! 4. Everything looks old and outdated except for the bedrooms 5. The bedrooms on the top floor have bunks with more stable and thicker frames than the rooms on the bottom/basement floors which have thin, wobbly frames 6. If you are assigned a basement bed, you would be sleeping close to the floor. 7. No towel/washcloth/clothing hooks in the bathrooms with the showers. 8. If you plan on visiting central/downtown San Francisco this is far - 20 minutes by bus to the BART subway and another 30-40 minutes by subway to central San Francisco. 9. Refrigerators are always packed. Do not plan on bringing a lot of perishable foods, there is no space. 10. There's a bunch of young people who can get loud at night 11. If your privacy focused, this may not be ideal for you - surveillance cameras everywhere except for the bedrooms. What I liked: 1. Management is very generous and willing to accommodate your needs. 2. Superfast wifi - I achieved 150-200 mb/s at night 3. Free breakfast although limited to only cereal, bread and peanut butter 4. Towels provided free of charge 5. Two large screen t.v.s- one in the living room and the other in the basement 6. Charging ports everywhere 7. Stove, toaster and microwave 8. Backyard with tables 9. Secure keypad on the front door and bedroom doors for privacy 10. Free parking in the street if you can find a spot 11. Safe, quiet neighborhood Overall, not a bad place but I do believe the owner should be more honest in the listing about the amenities and that pest control be utilized.

For the most part his hostel is the best in the Bay Area , they have all home amenities , fast WiFi , shower works really good and can make you feel refreshed after a long day . The manager Fatu who operates the entire home during your stay will help you with all your needs and is very respectful . I enjoyed my stay here for the first time about a week ago and will stay until I go back out of state . SFO CRASHPAD IS AMAZING !!! Thanks FATU for all the help while being there !

The facility is hard to find. It’s a house converted into a hostel. There was one man that was in charge and he was hard to get to often when I had questions. I got most of my answers from the other guests. Never an introduction from to the facility. I just found and explored my way around the house to figure where everything was located. The house was dirty and very unorganized. Lots of random items from what appears past guests all stacked and stored in my room. Would not stay again.
