La Escondida is located in Puerto Escondido Downtown, next door to Puerto Dreams Hostel.
Enjoy your private room with its own A/C and private bathroom, and relax on its cozy common areas surrounded by a beautiful garden.
In addition, we have several common areas where guests can exchange past experiences and future plans. With internal access to Puerto Dreams Hostel, you can enjoy our fine Cafeteria and Co-work space, designated for people that want to work and enjoy Puerto Escondido.
We are located near to some of the finest attractions and landmarks of our area such as Playa Carrizalillo and Playa Coral. We are just a few steps from Mercado Benito Juarez and several local places on our street where you can eat Mexican food or buy the cheapest and most delicious fruits and vegetables. Get your own free bike with basket to go around.
La Escondida Hostel Policies and Conditions:
Cancellation policy: 24h before arrival, unless non-refundable rate was paid, or deposit was made.
Check in 3:00 PM.
Check out before 12:00 PM.
Taxes included.
General:
No curfew.
Pet friendly - But clean its mess.
The maximum period of stay is 30 days, then we can work something out.
This property might pre-authorize your credit card.

Nice hostel, on the smaller side. Links up with Puerto Dreams next door allowing for more social interactions/space. 20 mins walk to Carizalillo beach, which had less harsh waves. Staff and other residents very friendly. Only 2 showers, but this wasn't an issue whilst we were there.

One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at! All of the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The hostel has a great relaxed atmosphere. The place was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Would definitely recommend this place to a friend!

This is really a great hostel. The rooms are great and the common space is very spacious, well designed and cosy. There are also very fun activities every day and the staff is very friendly and fun, especially Angie :)
