Merzouga Erg Chebbi Oasis Camp is a Real Nomad Camp Based In the Oasis of Erg chebbi owned by a local nomad berber family.
We have more than 30 years of travel experience in the desert and we want to offer an authentic nomad lifestyle in the desert.
The price includes everything for one night: c
amel ride / dinner / berber tent with warm beds / experienced guide / campfire / water / breakfast / hot shower / sandboards. Our camp is in the real Erg Chebbi oasis, which is 1h30m from the meeting point.
We can prepare vegetarian or vegan food according to your preferences.

Hassan is the most trustable and helpful hostel owner. As a young single girl, I was scared by arriving Merzouga in early morning. I called Hassan four times before deciding to go, he comforted and encouraged me very much. He also sent me a taxi to pick me up. The price he can give is definitely the cheapest one, he just wanna make friends happy. The hostel is 30 seconds walk from the Supratour bus station, that is very easy to find. Merzouga is much safer than Fes. Word limited! I want say more

Going into the desert was a once in a lifetime experience! We were late arriving to Merzouga but they waited for us to head into the desert- so nice! Our guide wasn't very engaging. There wasn't a lot of communication so we were left wondering when we would eat, where the toilets were, etc. The next morning we were supposed to go sandboarding but our guide told us we had to leave abruptly. The breakfast when we returned to Merzouga was delicious. The toilets in the desert were very clean.

Hassan did everything he could to go above and beyond my expectations for my trip to Merzouga—from his overall generous spirit, to his accommodating our unexpected late arrival, to helping us with everything along the way, from transportation to loaning is a battery pack. Additionally, he easily had the best value for the desert tour, inclusive of camel rides and Berber visits; having spoken to many people, I believe not only did I get the best deal, but also the best experience!
