OutBox Inn is a brand new hostel located in the center of Santa Elena, Monteverde. Come and enjoy our beautiful garden area, relaxing atmosphere and unique indoor playground.
These common spaces are the heart of our hostel and are wonderful places to share your experiences with our staff and other travelers from around the world.
All private rooms come with bathroom to give you extra comfort. We offer you breakfast (Not included) at our modern restaurant (The Open Kitchen) and we are happy to help you with tours and information about the area.

Nicest hostel I’ve stayed in yet. Would recommend to anyone staying in Santa Elena. Staff were super super friendly and helpful.

We really loved this hostel it was beautiful! The people were amazing and we had a great time. We did the nightwalk through the hostel where we saw a bunch of animals, but our guide didn’t speak English very well so it was hard to understand him. The only thing you have to be aware of is that there is a bar nearby so it is a bit loud at night

A very quiet hostel. Not much happens so it’s perfect if you’re going to stay there and work or go to bed early. Close to everything in town. Staff was friendly.
