We only stayed here as a stop over to Bromo but was a nice enough hostel! Had the dorm to ourselves, towel, tea and coffee provided. Have to pay to use the kitchen? Lots of info and tours offered to bromo and ijen. In the heart of Probolinggo. Would stay again!

We found out once arrived that moshi moshi hostel is the same as colorbox hostel, run by the same people and next to each other. It's basically a very humble homestay, facilities are not nice at all, no hot water and I even had issues with the cold water not running properly. No places to chill and staff didn't even talked to us Almost good enough for a one night stay but I'd recommend to pay a bit more and go to a better place unless you're under a strict low budget

Humble place to stay in Probolinggo. Convenient for a short trip aiming to climb up the Mount Bromo. Excursions are offered in the hostel at fair prices. The location is excellent to flee the city by train as soon as you come back from Bromo (10' walk). Kind staff, massages available at good rates. But, NO hot water, No flush toilet, NO AC, NO breakfast (you can't call that bf)... Nonetheless, decent place to stay for a 1 day trip.
