Bong Backpackers & Bikesis a newest hostel in Ha Giang although we have the most experience as we opened a new hostel after 9 years in our old one, and it was time to expand.
We have a fantastic American pool table, a ps4 and a huge river front terrace.
We are number one for bike rental boasting over 100 bikes. We organize easy rider tours, car tours, bus tickets, laundry, and anything else you could possibly need to have an amazing time in Ha Giang.
We also have 2 amazing restaurants for viet, hmong, vegan and western food. Our guests all get discount cards for both of our restaurant locations.
We have partner hotels, hostels and homestays around the loop to ensure our guests get the same great standards all the way around.

Very nice place to hang out and meet people for the Ha Giang loop. The bikes they rent are in order and good ones. Breakfast is also good. Beds are comfy but the dorms are big so quietness will depend on who is there. Only small negative, only two sinks in the bathroom get really crowded. The bar downstairs is not really in use at this time.

I want to self ride rather than do the Loop with a tour to have the perfect Ha Giang Loop experience. This hostel is perfect to rent your ride and they also help with suggestions and help you book homestays during your tour.

On arrival, we booked straight onto a 4 day bike tour of the Ha Giang loop. There was only a few of us which made the driving feel personal and not busy. There was also good opportunity for socialising with other groups at each accommodation stop. Bong hostel itself felt secure and was a perfect place to begin our adventure!
