Located in the middle of pristine Nicaraguan jungle - 10 to 15 minutes drive from San Juan del Sur - on the way to the popular Northern surf beach Playa Maderas, there is no better place to experience everything the bustling surf town has to offer.
the SPACE is also proud to be one of the venues for the legendary SUNDAY FUNDAY pool crawl parties on Sundays from 18:00 - 21:00. Please check the schedule for when we're hosting and be aware of this when making your booking. We encourage all of our guests to take part in this uniquely San Juan experience from start to finish! With 16 en-suite rooms, two pools, a swim-up bar & restaurant, yoga deck, mini permaculture farm, jungle picnic lawn, outdoor gym and remote work centre (mid 2022), there really is a space for everyone and everything - just as the name suggests! We rock 50mbps fibre wifi and have a generator, so we're pretty much always online. Perfect for digital nomads!
Choose from: 8 sleeper dorms (with or without AC); Private Rooms (with or without AC) or our luxurious Suites (with or without AC). Rooms include all the creature comforts.
Shuttles leaves the SPACE at 07:00, 11:00, 14:00, 17:00 and 19:00 and returns from IKAL (a restaurant in the Main Street) at 07:30, 11:30, 14:30, 17:30 and 19:30. Each trip costs $2pp.

Nice common areas and rooms. They don't allow food from outside which is not nice as there's nothing else around. You rely on the shuttle unless you rent a vehicle and there are not many shuttles available. The first room I was in was super dirty and moldy, it smelled so bad. The staff were super helpful and friendly so they changed me to a new one and that one was a bit better. Great staff and service!

Very modern decor and great areas to relax. Location is slightly out of town but they offer a shuttle service a few times a day, which is handy. The hostel food is quite expensive and mediocre, so would recommend getting the shuttle into town for more options. Beds were comfy and showers very clean. Great overall stay.

High end and beautiful hostel. Staff were all fantastic and incredibly helpful.
Private room was spacious and ensuite felt like a touch of luxury.
Only drawbacks were the isolated location and food costs, however motorbike/scooter hire is available through the hostel which helps.
Good place to unwind between parties in San Juan.
