This recently renovated, Mr. Monkey Amsterdam offers you all the same luxuries of a hotel, whilst breathing the same fun and exciting atmosphere that you would typically find in a hostel. This unique hotel is located right in the heart of Amsterdam City Centre, only a few steps away from the famous Flower Market (or Bloemenmarkt in Dutch).
Just next door, we also have the SupperClub, one of the hottest clubs in town. If you are looking for a tranquil escape from the urban roar of the city, then this might not be the place for you, but if you’re looking for a fun, lively environment in which to really enjoy the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam, then we have exactly what you need.
Whilst this 17th century canal house has really evolved with the times, our guestrooms are spread over 5 floors with no elevator access, so mind your step: the stairs can be pretty tricky after a night on the town.

Looks super nice but a bit basic for the price. Should be cheaper, or they should include at least a bar of soap or other essentials in the rooms. The staff are friendly and the location is great. The decor is cool but it lacked the feeling of relaxed comfort

To be fair. The location is good. Central and in the right spot. But it identifies itself as a hostel, hotel and bouqtique. Now we paid up to 180Euros per night. We stayed 5 nights.
It was defenetely not boutique service. So the cost per night I found it extremely high. It does not include breakfast, or daily cleaning of rooms, or wifi in the rooms and so on. No coffee in rooms, no water bottles etc. So where is the boutique? So no value for money. For that rate much better hotels.
