Few experiences compare to the adventure of traveling to see new places or return to the places we miss. Hostik is strategically located in the heart of Merida, just minutes from parks, museums, bars and markets. The Hostel is located right in front of the old Railway Station, which operated from 1920 to 1974: an emblematic site for Yucatan.
Hostik Hostal Inn has a number of amenities including a bar, a garden, pool and a terrace.
The proximity that distinguishes our city and the journeys of its old locomotives have inspired us to create this accessible and welcoming option, ideal both for those who know who will spend most of their time outside - swimming in the cenotes, exploring archaeological sites, touring the Restored haciendas-, as for those who want a relaxed weekend, enjoy the warm atmosphere, the delicious cuisine that the so-called 'white city' offers and the safety of its streets.
It is an open hostel, with many common areas, we have a rooftop, swimming pool, games room and a huge ceiba (typical Yucatán tree)

Cancellation Policy: 72h before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

Everything was great except it’s a bit far from everything, but it was a safe area and there’s a big kitchen so you could always go back early and cook the dinner there. Very clean and pretty, curtains and little bed lamp for each bed so privacy guaranteed. Love it.

The atmosphere seemed to be nice. Suggestes bathroom improvements: some bench or additional shelves infront of the showers, to place your things. Some hooks for towels and more surface at the common sink area, since there is just a bit left and right, which usually is wet or used by others. The rooftop terrace was not very used in the evenings, also very dark, even though it was the most ventilated area, I think they could make more out of it.

Really nice property but the rooms themselves were not well cleaned before we arrived. Loads of dirt on the floor and hair in the shower. Rooms are also very cramp with nowhere to really put anything. No storage, shelves, cupboards. Literally just a room with a bed. Also a very superfluous private pool area, which didn’t look very clean and to be honest came across as more creepy than anything. Space that could have been better used with storage.
