Standard Rooms include climate, mini bar and hot water. Basic rooms just with fan. All rooms with private baths.

It's a decent hotel which has only individual and double rooms, but still has a bit of a backpacker vibe with the main kitchen. That being said, it's not the place to go to meet people. It's really just a hotel and you aren't going to be doing any activities or meeting anyone. The shower was just cold which was a bit disappointing, no hot water. Also you gotta walk a bit to get to the main centre, but not too far.

After two nights in a hotel for similar price BUT w/out any kitchen facility, we moved to Casa Cuevas, which offered exactly this. That was a big plus for us.
Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff is very friendly as well. The kitchen is small and very basic equipped. But sufficient. With only five rooms in total this place doesn't get crowded anyway.
Only downside - there is no hot water! While most of the year it's not necessary I guess, it can get chilly in Mérida every once in a while 😣

The staff are very accommodating and nice! The rooms are clean, large, and even have TVs. The property is very secure- I’m a solo female traveler and I felt safe. They also have a couple cute hostel kitties that are big sweethearts :)
