Our lively backpacker's bar, equipped with cocktails on tap, is the perfect spot to meet fellow travelers with whom you will be able to enjoy our unique river tubing and Semuc Champey tours.
We offer a variety of options for all travelers on different budgets. From dorms with comfortable beds, beautiful jungle views, and shared hot showers to semi-private options for couples on a budget to private rooms that vary from standard to deluxe.
Zephyr Lodge - Terms & Conditions:
Cancellation policy: 3 days before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
Check in from 16:00 to 22:00 .
Check out before 12:00 .
Payment upon arrival by cash, credit & debit cards. We have a 10% surcharge for debit or credit card payments.
This property may pre-authorize your card before arrival.
Taxes included
Breakfast not included.
Reception hours 07:00 - 22:00.
Due to the party hostel concept, we do not accept people under 18 years of age.
We have a licensed Bar & Restaurant onsite, for this reason we do not allow outside food or beverages to be brought into the Hostel.

Absolutely loved my stay at Zephyr Lodge. The staff is so friendly, the vibe and the food are great and THE POOL. We did the Semuc Champey tour and it was so fun. 10/10 would recommend!

The pool and the view really make the hostel. The Semuc Champey tour I booked through them was also great. And I loved that they picked us up from the shuttle drop off point. However, the room were pretty dirty - there was poo and dead flies all over the windowsill near my bed. The hostel is down a dirt track in the jungle so it's a bit awkward to get out and eat elsewhere, and the food offered is average at best. Pool was sometimes a bit dirty and the whole place really could do with a revamp.

Good hostel and great location - best place in Semuc for me
Negatives: shower heat didn’t work on a few occasions, jacuzzi didn’t heat up on a few occasions, spotted a rat in our dorm with very little being done about it
