Lodge Dinorwig

As an inexpensive base for Snowdonia, it's hard to beat Lodge Dinorwig, a small independent hostel that is the perfect place to start your adventure in North Wales.

This old school was converted by Simon & Sonni in 2015, leaving many of the old features in place and giving this Hostel it's character.

We are right on the edge of Eryri (Snowdonia National Park), you can enjoy incredible views of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), Llanberis and Anglesey while planning your route up the highest peak in England and Wales. 

We are a bit off the beaten track but in return you get some fantastic views. There is free parking for all guests and a bus stop right outside the front door if you are traveling with public transport.

While there is no proper kitchen for you to use, Sonni & Simon provide a great cooked breakfast (incl. in the price) to set you off and you can book packed lunches and dinners with your stay. There is a microwave and a kettle as well as a tea and coffee station for you to use at all times.

The cosy lounge is ideal to put up your feet and relax after a long day in the mountains and to plan your next adventure. Hot showers and comfy beds will ensure you are set to go the next day.

Non-Refundable Reservations:
* Full payment is required at the time of booking and is non-refundable.
* If you depart earlier, cancel or fail to honour this reservation, you will not be refunded.
In case of invalid credit card details,we will contact you. You'll have 48 hours to provide valid credit card details, otherwise we reserve the right to cancel the reservation.

Check in from 4pm to 11pm - early or late check in can be arrange. Just let us know in advance.
Check out before 11am

GENERAL
We are a little bit off the beaten track and if you are arriving by public transport it's worth looking into buses beforehand. But we have a bus stop right outside the front door. The nearest shop is about 20min walk away so make sure to bring what you need with you.

All bed linen is provided but please bring your own towel.

CATERING
We serve breakfast (incl. in your stay) 8am-10am. Please let us know if you are heading out before then and we will prepare a continental breakfast for you.

There is a microwave, toaster and kettle for you to use but no cooker.

Packed lunches *bag of crisps, fruit, sandwich & homemade flapjack* £7.00

Dinner is available for £10-15 and home cooked and hearty.
