We may not have met yet, but we can’t wait to do so and smile and laugh and sing and talk about different stories and write new ones in the snow and sun, and above all, have some fun. We don’t know everything about you, but we do know that simply by the fact you have chosen to visit us, you are curious; you want to see and feel more than you have seen and felt before, and because of that, we are excited to drift away together, somewhere, forever.

I had an absolutely fabulous stay at Drifter, Christchurch. Would 100% stay here again if I am ever back in the area! It was clean, spacious, easy to use and secure and had so many facilities. The yoga class was amazing and such a great thing to offer. Great place.

Like some kind of art deco instagram influencer love child. Undeniably amazing hostel in terms of its cleanliness, aesthetic and practicality. It was almost too nice I didn’t know how to act. The pods in the shared rooms are perfect, comfortable and private and very quiet. There’s fancy stuff everywhere, but an ironic lack of good pots and pans to use in the kitchen that was far too small (this being the only flaw really), although the communal spices and oils were a lovely touch.

The literal best hostel I’ve ever stayed. Have been travelling for a while now, all through NZ and am yet to find such a sick hostel which is so modern, clean and buzzy - it’s very sociable and has a brilliant bar / restaurant downstairs. Not to mention how gorgeous the staff are and how many activities are on offer.
Would die on the hill of this hostel and recommend to anyone travelling through Christchurch (have already recommended it to mates as well).
