La Casa del Barrio gives a little taste of what Mexico can offer from its authentic 1900 beautiful colonial piece located in the heart of the city 'Barrio Antiguo' surrounded by a totally remodeled colonial neighborhood, only one block away our guests can enjoy and visit; museums, the cathedral, government buildings, as well as one of the largest squares of the world; La Macroplaza.
Our main purpose is to involve our guests into our culture by giving them first of all a nice and clean full equipped room, a colorful patio set as a cafeteria.
Please try our Cafeteria with Real Delicious Mexican Breakfast & our Specialty: The Golden Belgian Waffles, among other woodies......mmmm!
We also have lots of options for tours and sightseeing like mountain climbing, rappel, mountain biking, fishing, cave exploration, etc.

Small and quiet hostel located centrally in Monterrey. Just a few streets away from the bars/restaurants and a 10 Knute walk in to the centre of the city. Highly recommended. Very safe, very secure and great staff. The breakfast is worth the visit alone.
