Best part of this hostel is the staff! They were always so helpful and kind and they created a super welcoming and intimate atmosphere.
Cons:
location: although it’s a safe neighborhood it’s not the best way to see cali as it is very separate from everywhere.
the ladders are skinny and dangerous mine even had a screw loose it’s a lawsuit waiting to happen. rooms are always open. en-suite bathroom needs an upgrade.

One of my best stops in all of my travels - this was a really hard place to leave, especially bc of the people here. The volunteers in particular bring a special community feel. Overall - great separation of spaces and plenty of social opps. It’s incredibly easy to meet lovely people here.
Cons
- room 4 has a sewer smell. there’s an opening in the wall lining that seems to be the source
- staff cleans a lot but still feels like a deep clean is needed in bathrooms
- small insects in bed

Okay hostel with a good group of people. The bed sheets didn’t seem super clean and I think the salsa lesson seemed to have some inaccuracies that other teachers later corrected
