Old Parkland Hostel is located in the heart of Galle City close to the World famous Galle Dutch Fort. The hostel itself is a 120 years old house with unique traditional Sri Lankan architecture.
Guests have the luxury of mingling with the beautiful surrounding nature including a large green garden.
The dormitory composed of comfortable bunk beds , Free Air Conditioning, wall fans, reading lamps and free WiFi.
We provide delicious breakfast for an affordable price. Galle Dutch Fort, famous Unawatuna beach, Jungle beach are in the walking distance from the Hostel. Many other tourists attraction sites are located in a reasonable distance from the Hostel.

1. Cancellation policy: 1 day before arrival.
2. Check in from 14:00 to 23:00.
3. Check out before 11:00 noon.
4. Payment upon arrival by cash only.
5. Reception working hours 09:00-23:00.
6. No age restriction.
7. Taxes not included-10%.
8. Breakfast not included.
9. No pets.

This hostel is on a very unique botanical property and part of a 120 year old home. It’s a 5 minute tuktuk ride from Galle Fort and just far away enough to be out of the chaos by the beaches. Basic but clean beds and very clean and large shared bathroom. Owner Pinadu was a caring and attentive host and just all around a great guy. He will take you around the coconut farm and show you all the great produce and fruits they grow there. He prepared me *the best* traditional food I’ve had in Sri Lanka for breakfast each day and the portions were huge. This isn’t the most social hostel and more to relax but was perfect for me to get away from the craziness. Bring mosquito spray as this is a farm style property. If you need to get a car or tuk tuk Pinadu will arrange for you which was very helpful.
