Bonga House is a short walk to everything in town but secluded from the noise and crowds. Tamarindo Beach is located in the beautiful Pacific North West of Costa Rica, within the Guanacaste Region.

Bonga House offers beautiful tropical gardens, secluded within the heart of Tamarindo with spacious dorms, rooms, and suites that are designed to accommodate the comfort you want for your escape to paradise. Cancellation policy: 72h before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

This place is a gem and I am so lucky to have found it. I felt safe, the staff was incredibly helpful, and the location was perfect. The overall vibe was exactly what I was looking for at this point in my trip; peaceful. The pool is gorgeous and offered me a nice balance when I didnâ€™t feel like being at the beach. Overall, this place is excellent!

Nice place but not a hostel. The â€˜kitchenâ€™ is a basic outdoor setup that has no sink and not many utensils. The dorm smelt off the whole time, but having a hot shower was great. The staff were some young volunteers that were not helpful and did not make us feel welcome there at all, I felt like I was annoying them just by ordering food. But the food here is 10/10. Good place to relax.

Location was great, 5 min walk to the beach and anywhere you needed to go. Wifi did not work in the rooms which was unfortunate. Beds were comfy however there were ants in the bathroom, on the floor, in the shower, on the walls in the evening that made the experience not fantastic. Deals on food at the restaurant however we did not have the chance to try any.
