Minca Sintropia

Minca Sintropia is a small retreat at 1,250 metres, about 4km from the village of Minca, with breath-taking views of the Caribbean Sea and Santa Marta. Enjoy privacy away from the hustle and bustle and the beautiful flora & fauna of the surrounding area. Minca Sintropia is part of a sustainable tourism project with the aim of preserving and increasing the biodiversity of the 29-hectare, predominantly forested finca, where also organic coffee is grown.

You will stay in a private cabin with a views of the Caribbean Sea, the village of Minca and Santa Marta, which also has a large terrace with hammocks. The accommodation has a private bathroom, toilet and shower. There is a 160 cm double bed and a 100 cm single bed, a second single bed can be added upon request.

We offer optional breakfast, lunch and dinner based on local Colombian cuisine. Alternatively, you can cook yourself in the fully equipped private kitchen, using the organic produce (fruits, vegetables, herbs, etc.) of the finca, depending on availability. Drinking water is available free of charge.

Internet is free of charge, electricity is generated by solar panels and is reliably available around the clock.
The shower water temperature corresponds to the ambient temperature. When the sun is shining, the water temperatur is increasing.

Numerous activities are possible, such as bird watching, hiking tours, visiting coffee fincas, tours by motorbike or mountain bike, canyoning, etc.

Cancellation Policy: 3 days before arrival.In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
