Hostelworld users have said that Abraham House is the perfect walking distance from the busy city, near the Spire, O'Connell St and Trinity College. Our guests frequently praise the generous breakfast, clean rooms and brilliant staff who offer honest opinions on bus routes, restaurants, tours, pubs and other activities in the city. We've noticed that many guests return to this hostel more than once, with one Hostelworld visitor saying I wouldn't stay anywhere but here if I came back to Dublin.

Abrahams Hostel enjoys a reputation as one of Ireland's most popular hostels and is located right in the heart of Dublin city.
COVID-19 UPDATE
We at Abrahams hostel are looking forward to welcoming guests back to our hostel ,whilst also being committed to ensuring the health and wellbeing of our guests and staff during the current COVID-19 situation.
As such we have implemented the following measures :
- Staff receive ongoing training on COVID-19 prevention methods, appropriate PPE has been provided to all workers as well as perspex screens at Reception
- Social distancing measures and markers as well as maximum occupancy signage are in place in our lobby, common rooms, with reduced occupancy in our dormitories
- Enhanced cleaning measures have been put in place for rooms and common areas, especially on shared surfaces such as door handles and banisters
- Regular hand washing procedures have been implemented for all of our staff and additional hand washing facilities or hand sanitizer dispensers have been provided for both guest and staff use
- Signage displaying official COVID-19 prevention methods and advice are displayed in the common area for guests and staff to adhere to.
Our complimentary breakfast and luggage storage facilities have been temporarily suspended, however free tea and coffee is provided all day.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions WE DO NOT ACCEPT guests using our hostel for their isolation period. If we suspect that a booking is made for this reason then unfortunately we will cancel the reservation.
During these uncertain and changing times, please bear with us as our usual services may be disrupted or be changeable as guidelines adjust in line with Government and Health Service advice.
All rooms are ensuite and include clean, fresh linen (provided at reception)
We have free guided walking tours of Dublin city every day, plus a ton of other free stuff, such as free Wi-Fi (lobby only) and free city maps and guides.
There's also a fully-equipped kitchen, Internet terminals (small fee), an international payphone, safety deposit boxes (small fee), towel hire for only '1 and drink and snack machines.
We're less than one minute's walk to the local supermarket, the LUAS tram and bus to Dublin Airport, less than three minute's walk to O'Connell Street, the bus to Guinness Brewery and Connolly and Busaras Stations, and less than six minute's walk to Trinity College, Grafton Street and Temple Bar.
Please note that children under 16 years of age are not permitted to sleep in shared dorms.

A lot of people stay here because we've got a great location on direct airport bus routes beside the main train (Connolly), bus (Busaras), suburban rail and tram stations. We're in a beautiful, historic Georgian building with the friendliest welcome in Dublin. We get a great mix of all ages staying here - backpackers, school and university groups, families and couples - and to keep everyone entertained we have a pub crawl from our hostel every evening, a free walking tour every morning and free DVDs/games, plus fresh fruit and eggs at breakfast. We're close to O'Connell St/GPO (0.4 km), Temple Bar (1.2 km), Trinity College (1.2 km) and The O2 (1.3 km), but I tell people they should definitely visit the Guinness Brewery and Kilmainham Gaol.
