Diego the manager/owner was very nice. He tried picking me up from airport but I missed him. He didn’t answer email when I inquired about airport transfer. Rooms are old but clean. Kitchen on the other hand is a disaster. They should enforce people cleaning up after themselves. Both refrigerators dirty with old food that should be thrown away. Ants all over the kitchen. I would give it a higher rating if they could clean the kitchen. It’s easily fixable.

The best hostel experience I have ever had! The atmosphere is so warm, and even though I was traveling by myself, I made friends super quickly. Nicole and her entire family are incredibly kind and welcoming. The hostel also offers great tours of the national park and can connect you to scuba/snorkeling tours. The room was clean and comfy. I can not recommend Kona Tau enough!!

Generally it was a cheap hostel for two. But there was not internet at the island. And there was no people can help you in english . Everything was working through body language . To Someone told there will be pick up but there wasnt . It says free breakfast on hostelworld but none. The problem was , they dont know what they say at profile . Problably a volunteer did for them. They werent know how many days will i stay so i told . What if i say more probably we would be twisted . But good!!
