We stayed here as my usual hotel in National Park was full. Clean room and everything you need. Probably best suited to people who are backpacking or similar. Perfectly acceptable (although the toilet paper ran out in our room at 6am).

Great little place to stay if you’re doing the Tongariro Crossing or going skiing. We had a private room which was tiny but exactly what we needed for 2 nights. Only bad thing was the shower in girls showers was freezing cold and tiny trickle. Not what you want after hiking in snow. The kitchen facilities and lounge with pool table and tv are AWESOME. Thanks

We had a good stay at this hostel. We got upgraded upon arrival. The workers were friendly and helpful. The place was very clean, but we did find a lot of hair in our drain which was causing the water not to go down in the shower (eww). But besides that I found it a nice place to stay.
