La Vaina is a brand new upscale hostel, located in the cultural center of Cali. The place is super spacious with a sunny Swimming pool, an open bar, a wide-menu Restaurant, Guests kitchen, Salsa classes and a Yoga terrace.
La Vaina also has its own Dance & Drinks lounge where locals and travellers hang out together.
Recently renovated, the rooms offer a high standard. Boiling showers, smooth linens and a nice decorative touch.
All private rooms have showers and toilets.
The hostel is nearby to many bars, cafes, banks and museums. Cali's nightlife center is also close-by.

Taxes: 19% of tax will be charged upon arrival for residents.
Cancellation policy: First night will be charged. No-Show will be charged with the full price of the stay.
Check-in: 13:00 to 23:00 .
Check-out: 11:00 .
Payment on check-in by Cash, major Credit cards or Debit cards. We may pre-authorise your card before arrival.
Breakfast included only in private rooms.

We stayed in an private suite with bathroom - the room was nice, but not soundproof at all. The breakfast is not worth it. The kitchen is very very small and so dirty and disgusting. The pool is nice however it seems stupid that they only have two sun chairs for the whole hostel! Yoga and salsa classes was nice, can recommend. Over all ok but nothing special.

Salsa was SO cheap, pool was INCREDIBLE. Great cocktails and food, incredible instructors for salsa and free group lessons every day! We never left the hostel haha SO fun

One of the best hostels I have stayed at. Feels like a family with the staff and teachers, learnt so much salsa and the best time going out with them every night. In your own sanctuary with the pool and terrace with yoga matts.
Only thing is the kitchen is very basic, with no equiptment to cook with, very old oven and often dirty.
