We have two private bedrooms, one with shared bathroom; a bedroom with 7 bunk beds (14 people), a bedroom with 4 bunk beds (8 people) and a bedroom with 3 bunk beds (6 people) and a large balcony. All rooms have air conditioning and ceiling fans.
Prices include bed linen and free WiFi. There are plenty of things to do in Paraty. The hostel organizes a boat tour 'Caipboat' along the most beautiful beaches in the area. There are free Caipirinhas all day.
The hostel also has a pool table on the second floor, The location is also very good , near supermarket , bakery and ATM .
Cancellation policy: 15 days
Late cancellation/No show will be charged 100%
This property might pre-charge your reservation 50% of total amount when a booking is made to guarantee your reservation, failure might result in your booking cancellation
Cancellation of booking less than 15 days prior to arrival: No Return.
You will need to send on our email the security code (CVV/CVC) of the card you used when booking in order to fully secure your booking, failure to do so may result in you losing your reservation.

Property is very run down, does not look like photos anymore. Suppose to be a party hostel but no party vibes/ social atmosphere at all. Did not feel comfortable in mixed dorm. Had to get my own set of fresh sheets from laundry, not provided, only a dirty doona cover. Would not stay here again or recommend to others.

The 14 bed dorm room didn’t have an AC like the description said (or at least it wasn’t turned on when I stayed)
Ensuite bathrooms weren’t so clean and smelled bad.
The kitchen was not so clean and had no atmosphere, water filter didn’t work and kitchen sink would splash water everywhere. Only 4 stovetops for the whole hostel and not many cups and dishes.
Wouldn’t recommend for a long term stay
Staff was very very friendly and always smiling though!

Description is fake news: no breakfast (not even paid), no bar. Good location, near the historic center. Unfortunately, the hostel is old and badly maintained. Airco is museum-like: super old, too loud to sleep with and barely functioning. Only one socket in the entire room and it was falling apart, couldn't charge my phone. Lady from Uruguay at the reception (volunteer) was very nice. I would recommend to stay somewhere else in Paraty.
